Episode 1: The Debut Show - Download
Released on 11th December into Chellaston School and featuring an interview with Headteacher Mr Ruszczynski, the first ever Edition of the Chellaston School Podcast truly lived up to its hype.
With Science teacher and school-wide legend Mr Newton not only debuting his Jokes and Facts From the Science Lab, but also stepping up to the plate as the first challenger in the Comedy Half Minute, the show is truly full of action.
The Heads or Tails feature, where the next song on the broadcast is determined by which side a designated coin lands on after being flipped is also a highlight.
The Heads song, chosen by 6th Former Martin Hayton, was American Black-metallers Lamb Of God's Black Label. The tails song, a famously bad record chosen by the crew in the studio turned out to be boy-band, Westlife's Seasons In The Sun.
Listen to find out the coin toss result and the other 20 plus minutes worth of podcast entertainment!!
Episode 2: New Years Special - Download
Released on 11th December into Chellaston School and featuring an interview with Headteacher Mr Ruszczynski, the first ever Edition of the Chellaston School Podcast truly lived up to it's hype.
The second edition of the Chellaston School Radio and Podcast was branded a New Year's Special.
As the first activity of 2009, the show features both serious and humorous New Year's Resolutions from a handful of Chellaston school pupils.
The edition also sees, by popular demand, the return of the hilarious Mr Newton with his classic second helping of Jokes and Facts From the Science Lab.
Heads and Tails saw Sixth Former and radio crew member, Martin Hayton make an unexpected return to the studio. He was to again be the guest coin tosser. Instead of a Black Metal number this time though, Hayton demonstrated unpredictability in his music tastes by nominating Leona Lewis Run as his choice for Heads. For tails, the studio hand picked Cascada's Run Away. Which track will prevail?
In addition, Episode 2 includes former comedian and current Sixth Form Leader Mr Clarke taking on the Comedy Half Minute. Could he beat Mr Newton's previous attempt in episode 1?
Theres only one way to find out!
