George has been with the Derby Telegraph/ Reach for around 10 years now, but in the next few weeks he will be leaving and launching his own local news service called The Derby Mercury. What a lovely story. Thank you for sharing George! #derbymercury

The Hub hosted a celebration during Period 1 for Years 7 & 8. Students were encouraged to have a drink, some food and talk about how to manage their own mental health and wellbeing. This was really well attended and Mrs Burdis said how exceptional all students were and how well they interacted with each other. Staff and students were also encouraged to wear a splash of yellow, and year groups have had assemblies to remind them of the support and ways in which they can support others.
