
Chellaston Academy students are celebrating after receiving their academic and vocational results.
The majority of students achieved the grades to progress to university, apprenticeships and further education and training.
This year’s results highlights include:

Chellaston Academy, based on Swarkestone Road, Chellaston, Derby, is Ofsted graded ‘good’ and part of Tapestry Learning Partnership.
The school has a large sixth form and offers a wide range of A Level subjects. Some young people have also completed BTEC vocational diplomas and Cambridge Technical qualifications.
Students receiving their results described themselves as feeling "happy" “delighted,” “proud” and “chuffed” as they celebrated their achievements. Many also reflected on their time in the sixth form, highlighting the “excellent support from teachers”, the wide range of “in-school opportunities and subjects to choose from”, the “fantastic atmosphere and environment” and the “great teaching” as key factors in their success.
This year's students are progressing to an impressive range of destinations, embarking on courses including chemistry, zoology, mathematics, physics, biology, natural sciences, law, psychology, politics and midwifery, alongside many other subjects at universities and colleges across the country.
Others have secured prestigious apprenticeship opportunities, demonstrating the breadth of pathways available to Chellaston Academy students.
