As international language music was piped through our corridors last week we celebrated European Week of Languages and the wonderful advantages of learning a different language. Our Year 7s entered a poster competition and all year groups made beautiful cakes to sell to add to our Macmillan fundraiser.
We also had careers lessons for all year groups looking at the advantages of learning languages and our Year 13 A level linguists came into our Year 11 GCSE lessons to talk about their language learning journeys.
Tres bien, muy bien and molto bene to all and thank you to the MFL department for marking this important week in the world of languages.
