Hello Yellow Day - YoungMinds
Published 12/10/26
On Friday 9th October we celebrated Hello Yellow day in school which is an annual initiative to celebrate World Mental Health Day on 10th October. The Hub hosted a celebration during Period 1 for Years 7 & 8. Students were encouraged to have a drink, some food and talk about how to manage their own mental health and wellbeing. This was really well attended and Mrs Burdis said how exceptional all students were and how well they interacted with each other. Staff and students were also encouraged to wear a splash of yellow, and year groups have had assemblies to remind them of the support and ways in which they can support others.
