Chellaston Academy Sixth Form

I am incredibly proud to be the Head of Sixth Form at Chellaston Academy and am delighted that you are considering us for your next step in education.

At Chellaston Academy Sixth Form we pride ourselves on balancing a thirst for academic excellence in a happy, supporting and caring environment, with superb personal development opportunities for all. We do this  through providing an extensive enrichment and extracurricular programme that supports the wider school community.

As a high achieving Sixth Form, we are delighted to be able to offer an extremely broad curriculum, offering a wide range of subjects accessible to all students. This includes both A Levels and a strong Vocational offer.  This ensures we are truly inclusive and can provide a pathway for all students for whom Level 3 courses are appropriate.

We set students at Chellaston Academy Sixth Form extremely high standards in all areas of their school life, and expect them to consistently model the academy values of Integrity, Care and Excellence in all that they do. As a result of this, students leave Chellaston Academy Sixth Form with great prospects in whichever future they choose. Our high quality, fully balanced Next Steps and careers guidance ensures students are well informed about the choices they have at 18.

Our high-quality tutor system delivers superb pastoral care and each year within the Sixth Form is overseen by the Deputy Head of Sixth Form. Students feel safe and supported. Our structure ensures consistency across the Sixth Form and maintains the high standards that we expect of all stakeholders.

Chellaston Academy offers all students a friendly and supportive environment where students are challenged to achieve their best. If you think that this is the Post-16 educational setting for you, we welcome your application.
