Our Sixth Form Open Evening is to be held on Thursday 19th October 2023 and we would be delighted if you would join us to find out what Chellaston Academy Sixth Form has to offer.
Following our recent “Good” Ofsted judgement, growing numbers of students, more subjects on offer than ever before, and fantastic exam results that lead to great student destinations, this is an incredibly exciting time to join Chellaston Academy Sixth Form.
The format of the evening will be a short presentation in the Main Hall followed by an opportunity to meet the subject teams and discuss the courses available. We will also launch our prospectus during this evening and show people how to apply. To control the numbers of people on site at one point, we have a booking system in operation and there are two sessions that you can choose between. We ask that each student is accompanied by 1 adult only, to limit numbers of people on site.
Session 1
Presentation in the Main Hall 16:30 – 17:00
Time to visit departments 17:00 – 18:00
Session 2
Presentation in the Main Hall 17:30 – 18:00
Time to visit departments 18:00 – 19:00
There is no limit as to how many subjects you can go and visit. Maps will be provided, and current Sixth Form students will be on hand to show you around if necessary.

We have a fantastic number of subjects available to students with a range of abilities, both traditional A Levels as well as vocational subjects enabling us to offer a suitable curriculum for all students. We are currently in the process of updating our prospectus ready for our launch night, however last year’s document will give you a flavour of the courses we had on offer for the September 2023 cohort.
