After Easter, we are only a few weeks away from the start of the examination season. The vast majority of Year 11 and Year 13 students have never taken a formal examination. This web page offers advice on how to prepare for examinations, both mentally and physically. It also explains the special arrangements for the 2022 series of examinations. If you are a parent, it looks at ways that you can help your son/daughter through this stressful period. It also offers links to resources for each individual subject on our Firefly pages.

Students given revision timetables in Jan ’22, then revised in in line with advanced info. Revision lessons in line with advanced info. started week commencing 7/3/22 – one lesson per specification bullet.
Past Paper Practice Plan:
Students have been given assessments throughout the course (mid topic and end of topic assessments). Post w/c 4th April, students will have completed a full A-Level mock for each of the three papers. revision lessons are geared up with a small sub-topic review and then practice exam questions with feedback.

Specific Firefly pages for each of the three papers, containing revision timetable, PLCs, knowledge organisers, revision workbooks, revision packs, exam papers , mark schemes and exemplars
Targeted Support For Underachieving Students:
Underachieving and disadvantaged students explicitly invited to attend after school sessions on a Tuesday. Invited students to sit in Y12 lessons.

opening up a few slots in Y12/Other Y13 lessons if students wish to recap material, or have a dedicated space with teacher available
