Our Sixth Form Open Evening is to be held on Thursday 17th October 2024 and we would be delighted if you would join us to find out what Chellaston Academy Sixth Form has to offer.

Following our recent “Good” Ofsted judgement, growing numbers of students, more subjects on offer than ever before, and fantastic exam results that lead to great student destinations, this is an incredibly exciting time to join Chellaston Academy Sixth Form.

The format of the evening will be a short presentation in the Main Hall and an opportunity to meet the subject teams and discuss the courses available. We will also launch our prospectus during this evening and show people how to apply.

You are able to visit us at any time from 17:00 until 19:00, during which time you can visit the various different departments within school.  There will also be two presentations taking place –  timings and booking links for which are shown below.  There is a limit to how many people our hall can hold, so we ask that each student is accompanied by 1 adult only, to limit numbers of people on site.

There is no limit as to how many subjects you can go and visit. Maps will be provided, and current Sixth Form students will be on hand to show you around if necessary.

We have a fantastic number of subjects available to students with a range of abilities, both traditional A Levels as well as vocational subjects enabling us to offer a suitable curriculum for all students. We are currently in the process of updating our prospectus ready for our launch night, however last year’s document will give you a flavour of the courses we had on offer for the September 2023 cohort.
