We were delighted to be at the Derby Museum of Making for the launch of the Derbyshire South Careers Hub!
As Lead School this event marks the start of an important journey, ensuring all students achieve their best next steps. Our Head student, Anna Wells hosted the event and did an amazing job, and it was great to see so many influential people in Derby talking careers. Both Mr Metters and Oli de Botton, Chief Executive Officer at The Careers & Enterprise Company spoke passionately about careers and cornerstone employer, Kevin Dodds told us the importance of linking industry with young people through schools and colleges. It was wonderful to see so many people in one room talking with passion and enthusiasm about careers.
