GCSE and Level 2 Exam Results 2021 – 2022

Chellaston Academy is delighted with the pleasing examination results achieved by our Year 11 students. We are also proud that our results and Key Performance Indicators have remained positive despite the national picture, which show a decline in attainment compared to previous

58% of our students achieved a grade 5 or above in both English and mathematics and 78% have achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and mathematics. The average grade across all GCSE and Level 2 entries is a strong grade 5 and over a half of all students achieved at least one grade 7.  In addition, 82% of all of our vocational entries achieved a grade 4 equivalent or above.

We would like to say a special well done to Weronika Tomala who has achieved grade 9’s in all of her subjects and Suzannah Bedford, Isabella Bennett, Anna Dawson, Amy Fleming, Hal Hilton, Isaac Kirk, Matty Paterson, Jasmeet Taggar and Neve Thompson who achieved grade 9‘s and 8’s in all of their subjects. This is an exceptional achievement.

We are also delighted that the vast majority of our students have achieved their first-choice pathway.

We want to congratulate all of our students, not only for achieving the results they have, but for demonstrating such determination, diligence and positivity in the unprecedented and difficult times since the pandemic began in 2020.  We wish you all the very best for your future.

The school culture of Integrity, Care and Excellence is at the heart of everything we do, and students leave Chellaston Academy ready to be successful in their next stages in life. All of this success is not possible without the dedication and support from every member of staff at the
school, and I would like to thank them all.
