World Book Day 3rd March 2022
Students across all year groups, along with their form tutors, celebrated World Book Day’s 25th anniversary on Thursday 3rd March. There was a host of activities designed to celebrate this special day, which included book quizzes; writer workshops; opportunities to design World Book Day tokens and speed-dating book clubs. A firm favourite was the ‘Guess the reader…’ competition as several of our teachers read from their favourite books!
Years 7 and 8 students also showcased their creative flair by decorating their form-room doors, taking inspiration from their Book Buzz books, which they have been reading in form-time. The doors were simply stunning – thank you to all students, and staff, for their contributions!
